Members' Special Recognition

Mary Gorfine submitted "Collard Peccary" to "Threads of Inspiration" a show in a small art gallery in San Diego. Out of 93 entries, 16 quilts were chosen to be inspiration for students attending classes at Inspirations Gallery at Liberty Station (2730 Historic Decator Road #204, San Diego). The quilts were created by members of Studio Art Quilt Association.

ROAD TO CALIFORNIA 2022

Guild Members Loretta Duffy, Patti Reyes, Cheryl Quesnell, Mary McKay, Hilda Koning-Bastiaan and Robert Tucker had quilts in Road to California 2022 show.

ROAD TO CALIFORNIA 2020

Southern California Council of Quilt Guilds had a special exhibit at Road to California Quilt Show commemorating the show's 20th anniversary. Every quilt had to have a connection to the show through a technique learned at the show, fabric or kit purchased at the show, etc. Two of our membership quilts that were displayed - Mary Gorfine - Lake at Dusk - and Robert Tucker - Riding the Rails. Congratulations on your wonderful entries!
