MEETING THIS SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2016
UC Riverside, Palm Desert Campus
75080 Frank Sinatra Drive Palm Desert, CA
(See website for directions www.cvquiltguild.org )
Doors Open at 9:30am
So you want to know what is NEW in the quilting world?  Come listen to Monica Gonzalez of Monica’s Quilt and Bead Creations and find out about the new things she brought back from Houston’s Market.  AND she will have many of those new things for sale there at guild. Bring your wallets, checkbooks and/or credit cards.
Also we will hear from Alicia Campbell, The Batty Lady, about the ins and outs of batting.  Make sure you check out her batting .
In the afternoon from 1pm to 3pm we will be holding a Round Robin to share information and demonstrate techniques.  Alicia Campbell will talk on Wonderful Threads, Kathy Dunham will demonstrate binding techniques and there will be two stations demonstrating items that we hope you will make for the 2018 Quilt Show Boutique (a cute hanging pod for those small items and a wallet). The cost is $5 to cover the handouts you will receive.
If you are staying for the Round Robin make sure you are signed up with Christina Smithberg at the Programs table and BRING a lunch.  There will be a lunch break after the meeting and before the start of the Round Robin.
