Quilt Block for President Tony DeZego

At the end of each president's term, guild members are given a chance to make a block of the president's choosing that he/she will turn into a quilt.  Our current President Tony DeZego will finish his term at the end go June 2024.  

Tony has chosen a nine patch using 2 1/2 inch blocks to make a 6 1/2 inch unfinished block (or 6 inches finished).  He has asked members to do the following.

*  The center should be a red block.

*   The other blocks should be scrappy.  

*  Please iron the seams as shown in the photos below so that when the blocks are put together they will nest nicely.

*  Please pin a piece of paper or muslin on the block with your name on it so he knows who gave him the blocks.  

These blocks should be turned into the guild's VPs of Facilities -- Judi Moran or Janna Calkins before the 2024 Holiday Party so they can be presented to Tony at the Holiday Party.  Any questions please contact Judi or Janna.
